Different people volunteer for different reasons. The personal rewards received from volunteering is beyond comparison. A sense of accomplishment when you’re part of the team controlling a building fire, joy when a child is a born, empathy and compassion for accident victims, and fulfillment from teaching fire safety. When you volunteer with the North Berkeley Fire District t you not only receive all of these benefits, but you become part of a team as well as part of our family.
